<p align="center" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size: 12pt">At 0342 Hrs.,  Allegheny  County 9-1-1 dispatched  Rescue 175 for a report of an MVA with ejection in the area of 228 Little Deer  Creek Road. Captain Siemianowski (175 C-3) arrived on scene reporting a vehicle over the embankment  off the northbound side of the road. 175 C-3 reported one  male found face down outside the vehicle.  Patient was semi-conscious presenting  with head trauma, facial lacerations and possible chest trauma. Indiana Twp.  Police conducted a search for additional ejected passengers with negative  results.  Lower  Valley Ambulance  transported the patient to the trauma center at UPMC-Presbyterian.  Chief Ben (175 C-1)  was the incident commander and Rescue Captain Medred (175 C-4) handled operations.</span></p>

<p align="center" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size: 12pt">At approximately 1230 Hrs., Allegheny Co. 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 289, 290, 288, 172, 173, 165, 159 and 175 for a residential structure fire on Ideal Drive in West Township  West Deer Police arrived on scene and reported heavy fire from the rear porch area.  Upon arrival, Station 175 was assigned the task of venting the roof of the main structure.  Lieutenant Justin Shurina and Firefighter Matt Pavlik successfully completed the job and were then reassigned to an interior attack crew.  Deputy Chief Nossek, Dorseyville VFD had command.</span></p>

Several callers reported that the structure was occupied as morning mass was still in progress.  289 Chief Tim Hamilton arrived on scene within minutes and reported heavy smoke and fire from the near century old wood frame structure.  Rural Ridge Station 175 was alerted on the second alarm and assisted with water supply operations. 175 Rescue-Engine, Tanker, and Squad responded.  Chief Bob Ben was Station 175’s officer in charge.<br />
